    Felicity brings vast experience and expertise, having worked for over 20 years in the assessment and support for autistic children and teens and other related difficulties.

    Felicity ensures the Child Matters | Teen Matters team works in partnership with families to plan, write and oversee supportive programmes focusing on a range of challenges associated with autism and other developmental disabilities – including sleep problems, food selectivity, anxiety, emotional regulation, toilet training and behaviour/communication problems. A whole family approach ensures that plans are considered within the family context and families are supported throughout.

    Felicity is a board approved supervisor for both psychologist and provisional psychologist registrars and provides clinical supervision both within the Child Matters | Teen Matters team and to other psychologists practicing across the South West.

    Sally joined the team in 2018 and quickly became an integral part of our organisation. With her extensive background of over 10 years of experience in working with children in an early childhood setting, Sally brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.

    Her friendly and approachable demeanour makes her an invaluable resource for both staff, clients, and families alike.

  • Vanessa is a mother of two divine adult children, spends a lot of time with them, and more than often than not, this time revolves around food! They all have a passion for cooking good food and sharing it together or letting each other know what they are having for dinner on their group chat each night.

    Vanessa has lived in the southwest for more than 20 years and enjoys what the region has to offer - restaurants, beaches, walk trails, wineries, and so on. Living down here is Vanessa in her happy place.

    Vanessa worked at a local school for 17 years and was a highly valued member of staff, looking after the students from kindy to Year 12, building special relationships with them all and being their safe place to visit, whether it be an injury, sickness or just having a bad day.

    Vanessa is a warm, happy and positive person whom likes to follow the motto “Live Laugh Love”. Integrity, kindness and honesty are all very important to her.

    In her free time you will find Vanessa either walking or bike riding on the beachfront in Dunsborough. She also enjoys Pilates, socialising with friends and family, cooking, listening to music and going to concerts.

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology

    Giordarna is an enthusiastic and driven Senior Speech Pathologist, with first-hand experience in working with children with autism. She is passionate about providing holistic and evidence-based speech pathology services to enable children and families to achieve their goals. Giordarna has experience in the areas of Speech, Language and Multi-Modal Communication.

    She believes everyone has the right to successful communication and aims to provide children with the necessary tools and skills to be able to achieve this. Giordarna is also part of our autism assessment team.

  • Bachelor of Behavioural Studies | Bachelor of Science (Psychology) (Honours)

    Mel is a mum of three and a psychologist who is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families. Mel has a special interest in trauma and neurodivergence, and has experience working therapeutically with people across the lifespan, utilising a range of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), neuropsychotherapy, eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and play therapy.

    Mel is an AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor and facilitates Youth Mental Health First Aid training. Mel works 4 days a week with CM|TM and also works 1 day a week with the South West Autism Network as a co-ordinator, providing support to individuals and their families with autism.

    Bec is compassionate and hardworking mum of two who moved to Australia from the UK in 2012.

    She is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families and has a particular interest in working with neurodivergent young people. Bec is an AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor and has experience working with a range of presentations including OCD, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders and has an interest in eating disorders. She utilises a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Behaviour Therapy (PBS), and Collaborative Proactive Solutions (CPS).

    Bec particularly enjoys working with parents to help create a shared understanding of their young person’s needs and help increase overall wellbeing for the young person and their support system.

    Chris is an understanding and considerate provisional psychologist.

    He has experience working in the community, supporting people with a disability and collaborating to find strategies that will meet their unique needs. Chris discovered the joy of working with children and adolescents while at the Grief Counsel of WA and at Lionheart Camp for Kids. Personal experience has guided him in helping people of all ages through their grief journey. He sees great potential in everyone and has an affinity for supporting people and their family through the challenges of life.

    Chris’s brilliant rapport with children and teens is evident and makes for great fun when he runs our D&D social group.

  • Bachelor of Psychology

    Jacqui is originally from South Africa and moved to Australia in 2008. She moved from Esperance to Busselton and is now a valued part of our Allied Health Team.

    Jacqui is warm and bubbly and loves working with children, teens and families. She also loves the ocean and her Jack Russell dog Cody.

  • Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) (Honours)

    Olivia found her passion for working with children initially as an art assistant teaching children different art mediums and creativity. Before graduating, Olivia worked as an OT assistant, delivering therapy programs to children in various schools in Perth.

    Olivia believes it is a privilege to work with children and their families to provide evidence-based, holistic therapy services.

    In her spare time, you’ll find Olivia on the netball courts, at the beach, or painting away.

  • Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) (Honours)

    Becca is dedicated to supporting her clients to participate in meaningful activities and enhancing their overall well-being.

    Raised in Colorado, USA, she relocated to WA in 2016 to pursue her occupational therapy studies at Curtin University. Becca has accumulated significant experience in her field and has pursued additional training. Her expertise covers many areas, including sensory processing and modulation, dyspraxia, interoception, and self-care, which includes toileting, sleep, mealtimes, hygiene, and navigating puberty.

    Becca is passionate about empowering neurodivergent youth to flourish to the best of their abilities. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in a strengths-based, holistic perspective.

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

    Emma is a passionate OT and devoted mother. She graduated in 2013 and worked across the disability and rehabilitation sectors before joining the Child Matters | Teen Matters team in 2023.

    Emma loves getting to know our families and working collaboratively to identify, work towards, and achieve goals, wherever the goal posts may be.

  • Bachelor of Arts in Education (Early Childhood Education) | Bachelor of Education

    Libby has worked in early childhood education settings for over 30 years and has a deep knowledge of play-based learning and age appropriate pedagogies. Libby is passionate about developing the ‘whole child’ and assisting them to fulfil their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive potential.

    Libby has a wealth of experience in understanding, and working with, neurodivergent children and looks forward to combining these two areas in the work she undertakes with children and families as an Early Intervention Specialist.

  • Tania is a loving mother of three and has an obvious passion for working with children. She is a volunteer mentor at local schools and has been a volunteer wish-granter for the Starlight Children’s Foundation in the past.

    Tania is dedicated to supporting children and their families in a caring and professional manner. She values investing in the whole family system to support family members meet their goals by working collaboratively with children, families and their clinicians. Tania tailors her approach to each family’s needs with a focus on building their capacity to create strong and successful families.

  • Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance

    Annie loves working with children and has a strong interest in allied therapies, particularly Occupational Therapy.

    In her spare time Annie loves competing in equestrian events, playing hockey and spending time on her family farm with an abundance of animals.

  • Kiara is an experienced education assistant with skills in supporting students with diverse disabilities. She enjoys working together with teachers, colleagues and therapists to implement effective strategies and provide support to ensure children and teens thrive to achieve their goals.

    Kiara loves the sunshine! In her spare time you’ll find her enjoying the outdoors with friends and family, the beach, boating, camping and fishing. Her loyal canine companion Theo joins her and her partner on these outdoor adventures.

  • Bachelor of Obedience | Diploma of Cuteness

    Apple is a much loved member of the team, and you may see (or hear) her around the office. She has completed agility and obedience training, where she excelled in the weave.

    Apple is extremely sociable and outgoing, and is often complimented on her dedication as a team player.

    Having these girls on the team is no yolk. You’ll rarely find them in a flap, and their customer service is im-peck-able.

    Dave works remotely for the most part, but chances are you’ll catch him in the office on a stormy day (thunder is the worst).
